The Roland TD1DMK offers an enriching experience on a compact, easy-to-move drum kit. The simple yet powerful module offers a wide range of expressive drum kits, connected to Roland’s double-mesh pads for snare and toms. These pads use a double-thickness mesh skin for a rebound (of the stick after striking) as realistic as on an acoustic drum kit. Made to last, these pads allow you to exercise discreetly, even in the middle of the night. You can play with headphones to avoid disturbing those around you, and take advantage of the internal coach functions and “Melodics” drum exercise software to progress at a pace that will surprise you. You can start playing right away with extraordinarily authentic drum sounds and 15 pre-programmed kits for a realistic, motivating experience. To develop your drumming skills, internal coaching functions and “Melodics” software for V-Drums enable you to learn the basics and make rapid progress. Weighing just 7kg, this instrument is easy to move around your home: so you can practice on your own, then move the TD-1DMK and give a recital to your loved ones.
For parents – Help your child develop a sense of rhythm

As you progress, the TD-1 tracks your evolution and reflects improvements in your technique and expressiveness. The tension of the double mesh drumheads on the snare and toms can be adjusted to offer a more lively rebound than that of single mesh drumheads, providing a natural response extremely close to that of acoustic instrument drumheads. The feel and bounce of the bass drum pedal also play a key role. That’s why the TD-1DMK is compatible with the pedal of your choice, including double pedals. The soft rubber pad absorbs the bat’s energy, producing a very natural bounce and minimizing impact noise.
