The G-45 is equipped with a Gibson Player Port. The Player Port is an original Gibson design from the early 1960s that has been refined by Gibson’s team of acoustic luthiers to offer a truly revolutionary sound enhancement that adds a new dimension to the sound. The Gibson Player Port lets you hear the guitar when you play it as you’ve never heard it before – the same way your audience hears it, maximizing sonic impact for an immersive playing and listening experience. The G-45 is part of the Generation collection. Like all models in this collection, it is made in Bozeman, MT, by the same highly skilled craftsmen who build all Gibson acoustics. It features a solid Sitka spruce top and solid walnut back and sides for a lively, resonant sound. You’ll find that the slightly slimmer, round-shouldered body is exceptionally comfortable to hold and play. The TUSQ® head and bridge saddles, along with Grover® Mini Rotomatic® tuning machines, offer solid tuning stability so you can spend more time playing than tuning. The useful handle, with its Advanced Response profile, is so comfortable you won’t want to put it down. A carry bag is also included.
