Jackson honours Smith’s metal prowess with the X Series Adrian Smith Signature SDXQ, featuring a San Dimas basswood body with elegant quilted maple top, a two-piece bolt-on maple neck with graphite reinforcement and a 12″-16″ maple fingerboard with 22 jumbo points, black inserts and a licensed Fender Strat headstock.
The SDXQ also offers an HSS pickup configuration and is powered by a high-output Jackson bridge humbucker, a Jackson single-coil pickup in the middle and a single-coil pickup on the neck with five-blade switching and master volume and tone controls. A non-recessed Floyd Rose Special tremolo bridge with double two-point locking stands up to all the abuse you throw at it, offering rock-solid stability and stable, solid tuning.
