As Iron Maiden celebrate their landmark 50th Anniversary, they stand as one of heavy metal's most influential and enduring forces since forming in East London in 1975. Seen as pioneering the New Wave of British Heavy Metal, the band reached new heights with their unmistakable sound and theatrical performances. Their signature style features galloping bass lines, multi-guitar harmonies and operatic vocals, while their omnipotent figurehead "Eddie" has evolved to become one of metal's most enduring cultural icons. Selling over 100 million records across 17 studio albums, Iron Maiden has built a devoted global following - a testament to their five-decade legacy of shaping metal's evolution.

Dave Murray's iconic Stratocasters have part-shaped the band's distinctive multi-guitar attack for decades.
