Description

This very limited TAMA Starclassic Select Walnut snare drum is produced in the ultra high-end TAMA Japan drum making facility. The shell is 6-ply, 5mm 100% Walnut without reinforcement hoops and produces a distinctive dark, throaty tone powered by Starclassic die-cast hoops. A total of 20 lugs (10 each side) give this drum extra tuning stability and enhance sonic attack. TAMA's 20-strand snare wires provide sensitive dynamics and smooth action, while the MLS50A/MLS50B throw off/butt plate combination gives smooth and precise snare adjustment from either snare or butt plate side. Evans G1 coated batter with Evans Resonant 300 snare side heads provide excellent tone. The Chine Wine Walnut finish has a slight burst and has distinctive look against the black nickel drum hardware.
