Return Policy & Customer Care

At Metronomie, we take the quality of our instruments seriously. Every item is professionally inspected and prepared before shipping. To maintain our high standards and ensure the best service for all musicians, our return policy is as follows:

1. Return Period
You have 14 consecutive days from the date of delivery to request a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) by emailing us at metronomie@gmail.com. Requests made after this period will not be eligible for a return.

2. Condition of the Item
To be eligible for a refund, the item must be in original "as-shipped" condition:

  • No signs of wear, scratches, or modifications (e.g., fret wear, pick marks).
  • Includes all original packaging, manuals, warranties, and accessories.
  • Must be securely repacked in the original shipping box.

3. Defective or Incorrect Items (Peace of Mind Guarantee)
If a product arrives damaged, has a verified functional defect, or is not what you ordered, Metronomie will cover 100% of the return shipping costs.

  • Photo/Video Proof: You must provide clear visual evidence of the damage or defect within 48 hours of delivery.
  • Technical Inspection: All returns are subject to a professional inspection upon arrival. If the damage is found to be caused by customer handling, misuse, or intentional tampering, the return may be denied or treated as a "Change of Mind" return.

4. Change of Mind & Restocking Fees
If you wish to return an item for personal preference (tone, feel, or playability):

  • The customer is responsible for all shipping and handling costs (both original and return).
  • A 15% restocking fee will be deducted from the refund to cover professional re-inspection, sanitization, and administrative processing.

5. Non-Returnable Items
For hygiene and safety reasons, the following cannot be returned:

  • Opened strings, reeds, drumheads, and cleaning products.
  • Harmonicas, in-ear monitors, and earplugs.
  • Registered software and custom/special orders.

6. Refund Processing Time
Once your return is received and inspected by our technicians, we will send you an email to notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

  • If approved, your refund will be processed within 5 to 7 business days.
  • The credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment. Please note that your bank or credit card company may take additional time to post the transaction to your account.
