During the 1980's TAMA's innovative spirit was rolling, exemplified by their many snare drum product launches. Among those launches was the TAMA Mastercraft Steel Snare Drum, which became a favored product by discriminating drummers looking for powerful expression. With TAMA's 50th Anniversary of their brand birth date in 2024, TAMA will reissue this snare in very limited quantities.
This classic 14"x6.5" snare drum features a 1.2mm Steel Shell with the iconic TAMA shell indentation design, original design Superstar badge and 10 original design lugs. Outfitted with die-cast hoops, Roller Action Strainer with extended snare wires and One Touch Tone Control, this is a beautiful replica of the original Mastercraft snare. The sound is pure 1980's explosive and "in-your-face." The classic reissue snare drum that only TAMA can do.
