Seymour Duncan's Nazgul Rails bridge is a brutal variation, combining the unrelenting articulation, saturation, and chug of their original Nazgul with the clarity and tightness of a rail pickup. The rail design evenly distributes the magnetic field across the strings, enhancing string to string balance with increased clarity and sustain, for a response that is truly vicious, yet completely controllable.
The Sentient Rails neck pickup was designed as the perfect companion to Seymour Duncan's Nazgul Rails, enhancing the original's ability to clean up effortlessly for intricate chordal passages while being clear and tight for single note runs under high gain for a modern response. This pickup is incredibly expressive with a broad harmonic range.
Hand built in Seymour Duncan's Santa Barbara, CA factory, these humbucker pickups use Alnico 8 bar magnets, 4-conductor lead wire for multiple wiring options, and are vacuum wax potted for squeal-free performance. The set is available in both 6 and 7 string versions.
