The Pirastro 231150 Cello A String offers a classic sound for the traditional musician. The strings core is hand made from sheep gut, which produces a warm sound with complex overtones. The string is wound with aluminium for a more flexible, comfortable feel. The heavy gauge tension has an increased depth and warmth, as well as producing a generally fuller sound. This string features a ball tailpiece end and is designed for full size cellos.
