Vital instruments tailored to make the gig great, Modern Utility's five snare models each feature a 6-ply/5.4mm all Maple SST shell. Well-appointed with Pearl's CL Bridge Lug and smooth SR-700 strainer, each Modern Utility snare is priced to allow the active working player an expanded voice, is flexible enough to add to any set-up, and strong enough to stand up to constant play.
6-Ply (5mm) All Maple Shell
A thin (but powerfully strong,) SST shell that reacts quickly to the stroke with strong midrange power and sensitivity.
SR-700 Throw Off
A smooth snare strainer with simple, efficient action and added sensitivity control.
CL-55 Bridge Lugs
The classic Masters bridge lug with low shell contact for minimal restriction to shell vibration.
