Description

With its menacing sculpted and contoured body, the LTD F Series has long been a favorite for bass players of the heaviest music styles. With the F-4 Ebony and 5-string F-5 Ebony, bass players have an affordable choice for a super high-quality bass that’s ready to rock. It offers neck-thru-body construction at 35” scale, making it excellent for maintaining string tension while downtuning. The seven-piece maple / mahogany neck is extra-thin U-shaped for great playing comfort, and its mahogany body is topped with figured burled poplar. Its ebony fingerboard offers 24 extra-jumbo frets and offset abalone dot inlays. Other features on this bass include a string-thru-body bridge and a set of ESP Designed SB-4N and SB-4B active pickups (SB-5 on the 5-string version), with volume, balance, a ABQ-3 3-band EQ controls.
