The DXR12-MKII is a very high-power loudspeaker capable of producing a maximum sound pressure level of 134 dB with its impressive 1100 W of power. It’s the ideal solution for live sound applications that require high bandwidth and extremely high-resolution sound.
Less weight, more power
Enhanced custom-designed transducers: all DXR-MKII series transducers have been meticulously selected and meticulously customised to deliver optimum performance. The high-power woofers deliver very low distortion and defined deep bass, while the newly-equipped, larger and much lighter 1.75″ HF compression drivers produce accurate midrange and high frequencies up to 20kHz with less weight.
Wide dispersion constant directivity tweeter: The larger HF transducer is mounted on an all-new 90? x 60? constant directivity tweeter, designed to minimise the deterioration of the radiation pattern in oblique directions, unlike more conventional horns. This can help achieve a more ideal coverage area without irregularities. With the new wide dispersion constant directivity horn, the sound develops in a more rectangular pattern offering horizontal coverage from 90? to 60, with a wide frequency sound projected to the edges of the coverage area.
1100 W high-efficiency Class D amplifiers
New compact, high-power DXR mkII amplifier modules: all DXR mkII series loudspeakers are equipped with highly efficient Class D amplifiers optimally designed to match the DXR mkII’s HF and LF transducers. These high-performance amplifiers deliver the highest audio output in their class at 1,100 W, producing an impressive SPL of up to 134 dB. They also provide very fast attack and superior transient response, which contribute greatly to the incredible audio performance of these speakers.
Integrated 3-channel mixer
The DXR mkII series features a flexible built-in mixer with a variety of inputs, making it ideal for simple vocal/instrumental amplification. With its flexible input/output, the DXR mkII series can include a complete sound reinforcement system or be seamlessly integrated into a configuration using DZR or DXS series loudspeakers.
Versatile mic and line level input capability: The DXR mkII integrated mixer can handle up to three simultaneous inputs. It accepts both mic and line level inputs, allowing you to connect to a variety of sources, from microphones to line level instruments and portable audio devices. In the MIC position, an HPF is automatically activated to suppress unwanted low frequencies.
