THE SUPRO SOUND OF MODERN TIMES:
The Black Magick Reverb Combo embodies the all-tube rumble and smoothness that define the Supro sound. Featuring an analogue spring reverb, 2-band EQ and master volume knob, the Black Magick Reverb has been designed with maximum flexibility in mind.
Two independent preamp channels can be linked together using the “1 + 2” input socket for a fat sound, while using input 2 alone will give a more agile sound.
The Black Magick Reverb’s 3-spring reverb panning is controlled by both channels, then added to the dry signal just before the master volume control.
An updated tube LFO circuit provides a bias-modulated output tube tremolo with twice the speed range of the original Black Magick. Also available in head format with matching extension cabinet.
CUSTOM BD12 LOUDSPEAKER:
Our customised, high-powered 12-inch BD12 driver has been designed to evoke the sound of Jimmy Page’s original Supro, with an oversized ceramic magnet, high-end suspension and special British cone.
ALL-TUBE SOFTNESS:
Class A power amplifier using a matched pair of 6973 tubes and a custom Supro output transformer with 16 ohm, 8 ohm and 4 ohm output options. Plus 3-spring reverb panning and an updated tube LFO circuit, providing a bias-modulated output tube tremolo with double the speed range of the original Black Magick.
