The frequency-agile Concert 88 headphones can operate up to 16 systems simultaneously (depending on the region), with a distance of 300 feet between receiver and transmitter. At the heart of the system is the CR88 wireless receiver. Featuring a true diversity design, the CR88 minimizes signal loss during performances. In the event of signal loss, the CR88’s tone key and automatic mute functions eliminate all background noise until the signal is restored.
The front panel of the CR88 receiver features a selection button for automatic synchronization of receiver and transmitter channels via an infrared signal. The panel also features a 7-segment channel LED, volume knob, power button, two tuned antennas, as well as Audio and Ready indicators, for optimum functionality and control. Balanced XLR and 1/4″ outputs are located on the receiver’s rear panel.
The Concert 88 headset includes the CB88 beltpack transmitter and HS5 headset microphone with locking connector. The transmitter, which can run for up to eight hours on two AA batteries, is designed down to the last detail to deliver optimum sound reproduction.
