The latest evolution of a classic instrument designed for technical guitarists, the Rhoads RR3 combines versatile tone with classic rock styling and innovative technology for a pure-bred machine that proudly displays Jackson’s deep lineage.
Chosen specifically for its incredible sound, a pair of modern Seymour Duncan Distortion humbucking pickups drive the voice of this guitar, combining for a very balanced and flexible tone, with plenty of power for perfect clean-up and growling distortion. The Floyd Rose 1000 series’ sensitive recessed double-lock tremolo system adds expressive vibrato to notes and chords with the touch of a finger, plus rock-solid tuning and precise intonation.
The fast neck profile is designed for flamboyant guitar work, eliminating all obstacles to fingering and facilitating access to the upper frets. The ultra-fast, one-piece maple neck carries a pair of graphite rods for reinforcement against the onslaught of temperature and humidity, remaining true to form for unbeatable performance. The 12″-16″ compound radius fingerboard is designed for highly technical playing – more curved through the saddle for comfortable tuning, it flattens out as you move up the neck for ever-faster playing speed and wide draws without collapsing.
