The Jackson Pro Concert™ “Gladys” signature bass by Adam Blackstone brings back to life a legendary Jackson® model in a version carefully tailored to the artist’s needs. It was named in honor of Gladys Jackson, Adam’s grandmother.
This bass, with a 34” (864 mm) scale length, features a resonant poplar body and a bolt-on neck with graphite reinforcement, a combination that delivers huge sustain. The maple neck, with a custom profile, the compound radius fingerboard of 9”-16” (228 mm – 406 mm), and the 21 jumbo frets ensure a particularly comfortable playing experience.
This five-string bass is also equipped with Jackson BBE J-style pickups configured to the artist’s specifications, and they are paired with a three-band active EQ circuit so you can precisely tailor your tone. A Jackson Hi-Mass bridge enhances attack and sustain without altering the tone, while the exposed-gear tuners ensure rock-solid tuning stability while boosting punch and sustain.
