The secret of the Streamliner’s sound is a new offering from Gretsch – the Broad’Tron(TM) BT-2S hum pickup. Designed specifically for the Streamliner collection, the high-output Broad’Tron pick-up offers improved definition with a tighter bass response for robust bass, pure highs and a throaty midrange. This sonic power is harnessed and shaped by the traditional layout of controls – head and bridge volume controls, master tone control, master volume control and three-way head switching. A fast-playing 12″ radius laurel fingerboard with elegant mother-of-pearl Hump Block inlays and 22 medium Jumbo frets sits on the white nato neck with a slim ‘U’ profile – ideal for playing chords or riffing. Add sparkle and expression to your playing with the Bigsby-licensed B60 vibrato tailpiece, while the Adjusto-Matic(TM) bridge with secure laurel base and synthetic bone saddle ensures incredible tuning stability.
All the classic style you’d expect from Gretsch is here: vintage-style black control knobs, enlarged F-holes for enhanced Acoustic projection, elegant aged white mesh with enhanced threads, sleek nickel hardware, curved laminated maple construction and three-sleeve Tortoise windscreen.
