Independent volume and gain control for all three channels has arrived with the 5150III 50W EL34 head. Experience total control, with the same deadly look and ferocious sound of the EL34 from the 100-watt head.
The EL34 power tubes offer smoother, saggier and more saturated contours that evoke a more modern “British” sound, all with more sustain and versatility than ever before.
Channel one has a brighter, more sparkling, compressed sound, while channels two and three have a slightly darker, compressed sound with even more saturation than before. Other features include a rear-panel resonance control that adapts the low-frequency response for all channels, a global presence control and a shared three-band equalizer for channels 1 and 2, with an independent equalizer for channel 3.
Wrapped in an elegant gold and black EVH pattern, the 50-watt EL34 head is also equipped with an effects loop, headphone jack, preamp output and midi-in.
