The new Epiphone Prophecy collection reinvents iconic models from the Inspired by Gibson™ range, adding a modern twist to delight players who want to break free from tradition and reach new heights in terms of playing speed, sound and technique.
Two custom Fishman Fluence® pickups are fitted in the neck and centre positions, offering three distinct tones: a warm PAF (Patent Applied For) vintage humbucker sound, a modern humbucker with powerful dynamic tones, and a sound typical of single-coil pickups.
Tone and volume potentiometers with push/pull switches allow the microphones to be split. The Prophecy Les Paul™ also includes Rotomatic® Grover® locking tuners, a bridge with Epiphone’s LockTone™ Tune-O-Matic™ tailpiece that improves sustain, a Graph Tech® NuBone® headstock saddle that delivers sustained harmonics and increased tuning stability.
custom mesh, ebony fingerboard, jumbo frets, state-of-the-art weight reduction and a SlimTaper™ neck with a comfortable asymmetrical profile that offers optimal playing speed. The guitar is available either with a flamed top in AAA-grade maple (Olive Tiger Aged Gloss finish), or with a single top (Black Aged Gloss finish).
