The newly reimagined Epiphone Prophecy collection features iconic Gibson-inspired body shapes with a modern twist for players looking to break tradition and set new standards for speed, sound and technique. The new Extura body style combines the Gibson Explorer with the narrower waist and deeper cut of the Gibson Futura. Front and centre are a pair of custom-voiced Fishman® Fluence® pickups that deliver three distinct tones: a vintage Gibson humbucker, a warm modern humbucker, and a shimmering, hum-free, slightly overdriven sound accessible via the volume and tone controls. The Prophecy Extura also includes Grover® locking Rotomatic® tuners, Epiphone’s LockTone Tune-O-Matic bridge and tailpiece for enhanced sustain, Graph Tech® NuBone® nut for increased harmonic content and tuning stability, custom bindings, ebony neck, jumbo frets and SlimTaper asymmetrical neck with contoured heel for comfort and speed. Available with a table in AAA figured maple and a single table in Black Aged Gloss.
