Platform – Stereo compressor/limiter
The PLATFORM is a sophisticated professional stereo compressor limiter that includes volume boost, band inversion and overdrive. It’s powerful enough for studio work or post-production, yet compact enough to be used live!
The platform’s compressor/limiter allows the user to fine-tune the dynamics of their instrument and provides controls for volume, attack, release and sustain as well as push-buttons for Hard or Soft Knee and Limiter. Its foot-operated overdrive section adds to the pedal’s versatility, with dedicated controls for volume, tone and drive. Inflating (volume) is controlled by a dedicated button. By turning clockwise, the swelling increases from zero and the notes fade more gradually.
The Platform is equipped for true stereo operation and can be used as mono input and output, stereo input and output, or stereo input and output. The pedal features a three-colour LED array, a bar graph and eight LEDs that display the actual gain reduction of the compressor in real time, acting as the opposite of a VU meter.
