At the heart of this guitar is a pair of SQRTM AtomicTM Squier humbuckers, whose 5-position switch includes winding options for versatile tones in the 2nd and 4th positions for single-coil pickups. The torrefied maple neck was chosen for its optimal tone and stability, and the sculpted frog allows improved access up to the 22nd fret. High-performance components round out the feature list and include a Floyd Rose® double-lock vibrato system for rock-solid bends, and a sealed-gear tuning mechanism with split axles for smooth tuning and easy stringing.
