Our Launchkey is an intuitive, fully integrated MIDI master keyboard for music production in Ableton Live. You’ll find everything you need to create and play your tracks. Integration with Ableton Live
Launchkey gives you unrivalled access to Ableton Live functions, including MIDI capture, track arming, quantization, metronome and looping. Not an Ableton Live user? No problem, Launchkey also offers full integration with Logic, Cubase and Reason. It also includes direct commands for other STANs such as Studio One and Pro Tools, via the HUI protocol.
Enrich Your Musical Vocabulary
Inspiring features, including Scale and Chord Modes and a powerful arpeggiator, expand your musical horizons and open up new ways of creating. Scale mode lets you play only the notes of the chosen scale on keys and pads; the three Chord modes let you trigger complex chords with a single finger, while the powerful arpeggiator quickly adds movement to melodies. Strum Mode, a new feature in firmware version 1.1, further enhances your creative potential by letting you play chords just like on a guitar.
4 Different Sizes
The Launchkey is available in 25, 37, 49 and 61-key versions. So you’re bound to find the keyboard that’s right for you. The 25-key and 37-key models are ideal for mobile designers and musicians, as well as for limited configurations. The 49- and 61-key versions are ideal for larger environments, but also for those who want to benefit from a wider range of notes, as well as additional faders and controls.
Custom Modes: Control Whatever You Want
The 5-pin DIN output is compatible with all MIDI devices. Use Novation Components to configure the four Custom Modes, which are used to assign software and hardware functions to the Launchkey’s potentiometers, faders and pads.
Stand-alone operation
Launchkey operates autonomously, making it the ideal controller for all music-making environments, with or without a computer. Scale and chord modes, arpeggiator and Custom Modes can all be used to drive a fully hardware configuration on stage or in the studio.
