Description
The Concert CBXNT V MAH bass from the X series is highly versatile, and designed with a specific aim in mind: to add tone to your music. Improved electronics, a classically brutal style and efficient playability make this entry-level model a fundamental force to be reckoned with. This affordable instrument is perfect for metal or other styles that demand punchy bass.
The CBXNT V MAH is an 88.9 cm (35″) tuning bass featuring a poplar body with mahogany top and one-piece maple neck that generates tremendous resonance. The “speed” contour neck, laurel fingerboard with compound radius from 30.5 to 40.6 cm (12 to 16 inches) and 24 wide frets ensure lightning-fast playing.
The heart of this five-string beast is a Jackson J-style bridge pickup and a Jackson P-style neck pickup, coupled with a three-band active degaussing circuit to add power, precision and growl to your sound. An elegant Jackson HiMass bridge pickup enhances note attack and resonance without altering your carefully crafted tone, while sealed, molded tuning machines keep strings in tune, no matter how hard you play them.
