Description
In a bold first for Fender, the Tone Master Twin Reverb Blonde amplifier uses massive digital processing power to achieve a single remarkable sonic feat: faithfully modelling the circuitry and 85-watt output of an original Twin tube amp. A high-performance 200-watt digital power amplifier is used to achieve the headroom and dynamic range of a true vintage Twin tube amp. The resonant pine cabinet is paired with two Celestion® NEO Creamback speakers for a more distinctive rock ‘n’ roll flavour. The result is a tube-free Twin Reverb sound, volume and dynamics that are virtually indistinguishable from the tube original. The reverb control has been modified to allow more precise adjustment at lower levels. Perhaps most remarkably, even with all these features and more, the Tone Master Twin Reverb actually weighs only half as much as an all-tube Twin.
The blond vinyl cover elegantly evokes the classic Fender ambience of the early 60s, and the front panel features give guitarists the same playing experience as the tube version, including Fender’s world-standard reverb and tremolo effects. Additional rear panel features offer modern convenience and flexibility, including a power output selector for full power and five attenuated settings, a balanced XLR line output with impulse response (IR) cabinet simulations captured with Shure SM57 and Sennheiser MD421 microphones, a mute switch for silent use on stage or when recording, a USB port for firmware updates, and much more.
