Description
TASCAM's M-164UF 16-channel analog mixer with built-in effects offers plenty of inputs and routing flexibility to appease live sound engineers and recording enthusiasts alike. The six mic pres all boast phantom power to facilitate condenser mics, and each mic channel is also equipped with a 3-band EQ with high-pass filters, to shape the sound. The M-164UF also has five stereo line inputs including an RIAA phono preamp for additional input flexibility. Sixteen individual channels of output on USB round out the M-164UF's features.

The M-164UF has six TASCAM mic inputs with XLR ins and phantom power for great-sounding tracks. The mic inputs additionally have 3-band EQ with highpass filters, for sculpting the mix. The M-164UF boasts a stereo effects processor with 16 programs of reverb, delay, chorus, and other great-sounding effects.
Additional I/O
Five stereo line inputs bring the total count to 16 inputs, and several channels add EQ and RIAA phono preamps for adding flexibility. The M-164UF has two output busses main and sub as well as a pair of aux sends for monitors and effects. The M-164UF offers a 16x2 audio interface that works over USB 2.0. The interface built into the M-164UF has the highest channel count of any mixer, allowing all 16 inputs to be recorded to their own track in your computer recording software. The M-164UF comes with Cubase LE 4 48-track recording workstation software.
