Description
The Bahia Bass drumhead is made with a 5 mil bottom layer of clear Mylar film and a top layer of a black naugahyde, simulated leather (vinyl) material.
This combination produces a very lower bass tone which dramatically eliminates most overtones. Available in various sizes and fits most major brands for pandeiros, tan tans, and surdo drums. You should try it on a 14 or 16 floor tom if you want an add punch.
The vinyl surface is of simulated leather. The qualities feature lower bass tone and less attack from the batter head which will produce a softer sound when played with a drum stick.
