Nicknamed "The Workhorse" and first introduced in 1942, this iconic acoustic has become the cornerston of Gibson's round-shoulder, dreadnought line. Gibson is pleased to release a new version of the J-45 standard with rosewood back and sides that delivers all of the playing and sonic characteristics you'd expect from the world-renowned J-45 but with slightly fuller bass response and overtone complexity due to the rosewood body. These exceptional acoustic guitars come complete with an L.R. Baggs™ VTC under-saddle pickup and preamp system, making them stage and studio-ready from the moment you take them out of the included hardshell case.
