Description
Jackson’s first customer was legendary guitarist Randy Rhoads, who asked us to create a model that met the demands of his technically challenging playing with visual panache. The result continues to evolve to meet and exceed the needs of gamers who have come of age by listening to his groundbreaking work. The Rhoads RR24Q Pro Series is a proud contender for the throne of high-tech guitars.
The Pro RR24Q combines a mahogany body with a curly maple top, and a maple neck that passes through the body, bearing a pair of graphite rods for reinforcement against the assaults of temperature and humidity. The neck’s fast profile is designed for flamboyant guitar work, eliminating any obstacle to leaky-finger playing and facilitating access to the upper frets. A 12″-16″ compound-radius ebony fingerboard is also designed for fast, highly technical playing – more curved at the nut for comfortable tuning, it flattens out as you move up the neck for faster and faster playing speed and wide bends without panicking.
Modern Seymour Duncan® Distortion humbucker pickups drive the voice of this guitar, combining for a very balanced and flexible sound for the most aggressive styles, with plenty of high output for clean, crisp distortion. The Floyd Rose® 1000 Series recessed double-lock tremolo system adds expressive vibrato to notes and chords with a flick of the finger, along with rock-solid tuning performance and precise intonation.
The most recognizable of Jackson’s many products, the Pro RR24Q benefits from the familiar aesthetics that keep Jackson® axes in high demand among live guitarists. With its unique shark fin inlays, pointed 6-key in-line head and revolutionary body design, this instrument is a Jackson creation. Jackson guitars don’t just push boundaries, they smash them – and the Pro RR24Q is no exception.
It is available in transparent purple with a white body and gold accessories, or in Winterstorm with a black body and black accessories.
