Description

Jackson was founded in 1980 in Southern California. It was the first brand to address the needs of hard rock and metal virtuosos, offering instruments with features focused on extreme playing speed.

Jackson has continued to revolutionize its high-performance guitars for 40 years, while dominating the metal scene with its shred-oriented models. The brand new American series opens a new chapter in Jackson’s history as it’s the first to offer high-end products manufactured in Corona.

The American Virtuoso™ is a model equipped with all the essential features. It’s a true source of inspiration for guitarists all over the world, especially for fans of ultra-fast playing. This guitar features an alder body, and its ergonomic “hand-shake” heel ensures great playing comfort during your long sets.

The bolt-on neck, made of five pieces of caramelized maple/maple multi-laminate, is reinforced by graphite rods, ensuring perfect stability up to the 24th fret. The rosewood fretboard, with its rounded edges and compound radius of 12″-16″ (305 – 406.4 mm), is ultra-fast. You’ll have no trouble playing rhythms, riffing near the headstock, and virtuoso solos from one end of the neck to the other. Thanks to the Luminlay® side dot inlays, you’ll always play the right fret, even on the darkest stages. And with the wheel installed on the heel, you can adjust the neck adjustment rod in the blink of an eye.

The HH pickup configuration consists of a Seymour Duncan® JB™ TB-4 humbucker in the bridge position, providing a characterful sound with plenty of punch and no shortage of bass, while the Seymour Duncan ’59™ SH-1N in the neck position, with its ultra-clear highs and scooped mids, will excel in a multitude of musical styles. The controls, consisting of a five-way blade pickup selector switch, and volume and tone potentiometers with dome-style knobs, are intuitively arranged.

This guitar also features other high-end characteristics, including a Floyd Rose® 1500 Series bridge with tremolo and double locking system, the latter ensuring perfect tuning stability during the most aggressive performances; Gotoh® MG-T locking tuners, and Dunlop® double-locking strap locks.

The American Virtuoso™ also showcases a style that will not leave anyone indifferent, offering a choice between Mystic Blue, Satin Black, Satin Shell Pink, and Specific Ocean finishes, with a matching pointed headstock adorned with binding, and black hardware.
