For this funky reissue, Electro-Harmonix re-created the original 1970s circuit for that smooth and sweet phase shifter sound loved by millions and heard on countless records. The fates aligned as they approached the 50th anniversary of their original compact phaser, the Small Stone, when Electro-Harmonix unearthed a stock of now-obsolete NOS CA3094 chips once used in the original circuit. With enough chips in hand to make 600 units, they set out to make an authentic classic with original spec parts in a special-edition golden chassis to commemorate the effects 50-year heritage.
