The GK5-KIT-B allows for immaculate customization of four-, five-, or six-string electric basses with BOSS's advanced GK-5B Divided Pickup system. Featuring expanded fingertip controls, players can take advantage of the innovative Serial GK digital interface while operating a BOSS guitar/bass synthesizer or V-Guitar product alongside their instrument's regular pickup signal.

Dedicated Kit for Ultimate Serial GK Integration
The GK5-KIT-B Divided Pickup Kit?has been designed exclusively for electric basses with four, five, or six strings. It contains the necessary parts for complete professional installation of BOSS's GK-5B Divided Pickup with expanded controls. For ease of use, controls can be appropriately positioned at the player's discretion during the customization process. Parts include the GK-5B unit itself, a circuit board, the Serial GK connector board/plate, a level pot, and switches, plus an LED, wires, springs, and screws.

Expanded Fingertip Control
Once installed, the GK5-KIT-B system works in complete harmony with the instrument's standard pickup harness. Both outputs can be selected independently or blended using the three-way toggle switch. A three-way momentary switch activates two controls (S1 and S2) that can be assigned to various functions depending on the GK-compatible device attached. Similarly, the GK knob adjusts the volume level or a variety of assignable parameters. A handy LED lets you know when the GK5-KIT-B is receiving power.
